uJackie,” the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Sisk of Sperryville, graduated from R. C. H. S. last Thursday night. While in school, he pitched for the high school team and w$w also a member 6f the high school basketball team, making a good record in both sports.
The old adage that “pitcher don’t hit” doesn’t hold true in the . case of Sisk. All during the season he has slammed out good safe hits, often scoring his teammates.
Although the ''Chiefs and the local fans can’t compete with the Big League gifts of convertibles to their star players, they can show their appreciation and respect for Jackie Sisk’s pitching prowess by attending Sunday’s game with i the Middletown A. C. on the home diamond.
