Injuries Serious
Charlie Coates was critically injured Saturday when a tractor ran over him as he was bailing hay on the V. R. Gatley Farm, near Woodville. Mr. Coates had gotten off the tractor to pick up a branch in the path, when the tractor knocked him down and ran over him. !' •
He was rushed to the University of Virginia Hospital by Geest ■ Ambulance. At last report, he suffers a crushed shoulder,- a broken nose, crushed ankle and a broken leg. X-rays have not been > completed.
