and John Blaisdell were among the high school students who won a sight-seejng trip to Fredericksburg, Tuesday. They had collected more than $5 each for the' Cancer Fund, and so won the trip.

A/lc and Mrs. Harvey Smoot, Jr, have returned to their home in Savannah, Georgia after a 30-day furlough spent at their home in the county. Richard Conway Dennis returned with them for a visit.r Sgt. Smoot will leave soon for a 90-day tour or duty in Italy.
