ine Board of Assessors has a more difficult task of getting all Real Property assessed on a equal base than most people realize.
First the Board considers the selling price of different properties through out the County from 1956 to 1961 and base their appraisal on a conservation Fair Market value, equalized with all other land in the same area. However, many factors must be considered. For example, a 212 acre farm well located on the Lee Highway with ^ mile road frontage and containing each land classification, may be appraised as follows:
