A Rappahannock grand jury in session Monday from 10 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., returned 10 indictments including1 one murderT three rapes, two larcenies, threw felonious assaults with intent to kill and one burglary. The November grand jury charged Johnny Harrison, rtf Fairfax, Va., with murder in the shotgun slaying of his 74-yearold father, James H. Harrison, on Aug. 11 at a Saturday afternoon beer party at the father'* home near Washington, Va. According to the report of the chief medical examiner the victiin died on Aug. 19 as the result Of shotgun wounds in the shoulder.
Charles Edward Stringfellow, age 21, and Russell Thomas Haines, 27, both of Amissville, were indicted for raping Mr*. Dorothy Bailey, 48, of Warrenton, Va. on the night of October 7 on a dead end road near Amiss* ville. Stringfellow, a parolee from the state penitentiary five days prior to the rape offense, was released by the State Parole Board after serving one and onehalf years of * six-year burglary sentence.
Gene Hackley, age 25, of Fauquier County, was indicted for statutory rape of a 14-year-old girt. 1
