Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman were Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman, Jr. of Richmond and Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Wake of Saluda. Mr. and Mrs. Chapman, Si', left Sunday for Richmond where Mr. Chapman will have eye treatment following an examination in Charlottesville on Friday. They will remain for an indefinite stay with their son and daughter-inlaw.
Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor were their sons Joe and Buddy Aylor and grandchildren Ann Yates and Joe, Jr. of Arlington. Mrs. Joe Aylor and daughter Joyce spent the week-end with her mother Mrs. Della Howard at the Lee Highway Hotel.
Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer entertained a small group of youngsters on Sunday for her son Freddie, celebrating his fifth birthday. Games and refreshments were enjoyed by the guests.
Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madison was a Sunday guest in the homes of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Johnson and her sister Mrs. Fred Schaefer and family.
Mr. and Mrs. John Davis of McLean were Sunday visitors of friends in town.
