James Dulin, 87, retired Government Printing Office employee died Thursday, November 8 in Washington, D. C. where funeral services were held on Monday.

P^TA To Organize ~ "
A meeting was held onTharsday, Nov. 8, at Washington Elementary School for the purpose of determining if there was enough interest among patrons to organize a Parent-Teachers Association in the county, It was discussed in great detail why a P-TA is needed and what P-TA does for the school. It was decided to organize and a nominating committee was appointed to secure a slate of officers. This committee is composed of patrons from the areas of Chester Gap, Flint Hill, Amissville, Forest Gjrove and Washington.
First meeting will be Wednesday, December 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Elementary (School at which time “the slate of officers will be presented for election. All parents are invited and urged to attend.
