Democrats as a national party vote conservative on only 23 of every 100 issues; Southern Democrats only 44 out of every 100. Republicans as a party vote conservative on 76 out of 100. These voting statistics show how a Republican vote can stop this drift toward liberalism as it represents a vote for true conservative gov. ernment. Delegates Bernard Dahlgren and Lt. Col. John Carney were elected to the State Convention to be held in Richmond, June 13.
