The mad rush Is on! Exam

The mad rush Is on! Exam schedules have been posted and teachers have begun review work. Comments such as "I just know I’m going to flunk that exam," and "Soon we'll be out of here", have been floating around for some time now. Baccalaureate services will be held at 8 p.m. (EDT) Sunday May 31. The Rev. Charles F. Glaenzer will be the guest speaker. Graduation exercises are to be held the following Friday at 8 p.m.(EDTX Some of the pictures that were taken by the photographer at the Prom have returned. Almost all of them turned out very well; the rest should arrive soon. Seniors have decided on their trip. The day after Graduation, we will spend the day in Washington, D.C. During the morn- j ing we will sightsee, and that afternoon, we will attend the movie, “Tom Jones." Friday, May 22, was “Teacher Appreciation Day." Every teacher received a corsage or boutoniere at a special assembly held for them. During the assembly, different students spoke on why they appreciate their teachers. Guest speakers were Mr. O. A. Norton and Mr. James W. Eavey. That afternoon, teachers were excused from their classes during the last part of 5th period for a tea held in their honor. Students took over for them in their absence. A tea will be given for the Senior Class on Friday at 2 o’clock. It is sponsored by the Home Demonstration Clubs of the county.
