Biographies and autobiographies are not only,interesting to read, but they stimulate the reader to strive for higher living. They point upward. It may surprise you to know that in the Rappahannock County library there are nearly a hundred books in this category from which to choose. The variety is wide. Here are a few samples: Lee After the War, The Man Called Peter, Bettie Davis, Walter Hines Page, Will Durant, Scotland Yard, Charles Lindbergh, John R. Moffett. A glance' through the shelves will probably call your attention to others of special interest to you. While you s,re in the Library on Saturday morning or Wednesday afternoon you might like to look around at the other shelves that are filling up with a wide range of readable matter.
