Baptist Home Residents Feted At Party
Residents of the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper who have birthdays in the month of Vlay were honored with a party Tuesday, May 19. Hostesses For the party were members af Amissvllle Baptist Church including Mrs. F. L. Bowey, Mrs. A. C. Latham, Mrs. Norvel James, Mrs. J. L. Walter, Mrs. C. A. Smith, Mrs. Mason Hitt, Mrs. Charlie Priest, Mra Marion Woodard, and Mrs. Aubrey Curtis. Twenty-six guests were present and each was presented a gift. Refreshments were served.
Film To Be Shown
At Chester Gap
'Chester Gap Baptist Mission will sponsor a showing of films 'Tour of the Holy Land* on Sunday, May 31 at 7;30 p.m., EST in the mission auditorium. These films were taken and will be narrated by Mrs. Margaret Moore.of Arlington, who recently made a tour of Palestine and the Near East. Mrs. Moore, who will be a guest of Commander and Mrs. Harold Davis of Chester Gap, has graciously consented to share with us the richness of experiences of the tour in this way. Everyone regardless of church affiliation is urged to avail themselves of this opportunity to see and hear of the land of our Biblical heritage. The movie is free and a joyous welcome awaits your attendance."
