Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy, Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy) Miss Betty Kennedy of Arlington and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Minnie of Culpeper were in Leesburg Sunday to visit Henry Kennedy, who is ill. He is the brother of Olney and Waver Kennedy, a former resident of R appahannock county who has made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kipp, near Leesburg for many years. Mrs. Irna Nethers of Hood spent last weekend with Mrs. R. W, Quaintance and Miss Elsie* Ramsey. On Tuesday they all drove to Culpeper where Mrs. Nethers remained for a visit with Miss Stella and Miss Edith Rosson. Lee Hudson and Mr. Peterson of Washington, D.C. spent the weekend at their Slate Mills home. Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Thornton of North Billarico, Mass, are spending the week with their son Wesley Thorn ton at his trailer on the Reva Road. Miss Patty Faye Wood of Alexandria was a week-end guest of her grandparents Mr and Mrs. George* W. Tidier. Sunday guests were Mrs. Cath e^ine Wood, Robert and Ray mond Scott of Alexandria, Mrs James Dennis, daughter Dorothy and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Weaver, all of Boston. Mrs. Arthur T. Cobert, director of the choir of the Cut peper Methodist Church on Tuesday entertained the choir mothers who work with her.
