Those attending the Spring Band & Glee Club Concert at the Madison County High School last Friday night from this community were; Mrs. E. B. Updike, Kirby Updik^ Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh and daughter Susan, Jim Miller and Bob Deal. Misses Judy and Pat Updike and Donald Gallihugh were participants.
Miss Eda Finks has return ed from the University hospital where she recently underwent an eye operation. She is getting along nicely and has as her house guest while she is convalescing, Mrs. Bertha Reese of the Baptist Home in Culpeper. Wednesday night dinner guests in the home of Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and the Harry Galllhugh's were: The Rev. and Mrs. W. H. Longfellow and children, Rebecca, Johathan and Philip, the Rev. and Mrs. Allan Reeves and Miss Linda Lohr. Mrs. E. B. Updike anddaugtv ter, Mrs. Marshall Wynham of Madison visited Mrs. Wesley Blackwell and infant son in Warrenton Hospital on last Wednesday. Mrs. Blackwell is the former Miss Joan Updike. Woodrow Deal spent the weekend with his family here. Hej is staying with his father since his return from the University Hospital. Mr. Deal is getting along very well. Harry Deal spent one night this week with his parents also. Mr. and Mrs. James Yates and Mr. and Mrs. James E. Yates, Jr. and little daughter attended the funeral on Thursday of Mr. Yates' aunt'Mrs. G. Bowdoin Craighill of Charlestown, ,W. Va. Mr. arid Mrs. James E. Yates of-Meadow Green visited Capt. David I. Hedrick U. S. N. Ret and Mr*. Hedrick on Sunday afternoon near Flint Hill. The Hedricks are moving from Rappahannock Co. to Pennsylvania. They also visited Mrs.i Galley Smith and the John S. Brownings in Flint Hill. Mrs. Festus Hudson is quite sick. She has been spending some time with her children Mr. and Mrs. Festus Hudsoiv Jr. and son spent the weekend with their Mother. Mr. and Mrs. Moyer Mason and Mr. and Mrs. Moyer Mason Jr. and family were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs Robert Jones.
