The Eastern Stud Ram Sale will be held June 9-10-11 at Staunton. The various Breed Dinners will be held the evening of June 9th. June 10 will be Show Day beginning with Hamps at 8:00 a. m. E. D. T. The Southdowns, Dorsets, and Suffolks will be shown in the afternoon. The Sale will start promptly at 9:00 am. E. D. T. on the 11th, commencing with the ewes and followed immediately by the sale of rams.
Laymen Will Conduct Service at Amissville
Two Laymen of Amissville Methodist Church will conduct the worship service Sunday morning. May 31 at 11 o’clock at that church. Thomas O’Halloran and Paul Poling will be in charge of the services.
Attend Army Band Concert and Tea
Among those who attendee a concert by the U. S. Army Band, followed by tea at the Officer's Club at Vint Hill Farm Signal Corps Station near Warrenton on Wednesday were Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. Henry M. Keyser, Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., Mrs. Frank W. Spalding and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith. They were the guests of the commanding officer Col. E. A. McNear and Mrs. McNear. . ■
