Mrs. E. M. Eastham, “Miss Fannie* to us, of Flint Hill was made a special life member of the Flint Hill Methodist Womens Society of Christian Service at the regular meeting September 24. She was presented a gold pin and a framed certificate. The presentation was made by Mrs. Barbara Gentry. The pin and certificate was in recognition of her faithful and loyal service to the society for many years. “Miss Fannie" didn’t say how many years but she did say she started in the youngster’s group called Rosebuds. When just a child and recalled that each Rosebud gave two cents a month to missions. She also said she did not feel she deserved such recogni tion but was most appreciative* The meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Carson Lillard Others present were Mrs. Ba& bara Gentry, Mrs. Emory Rus sell, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, jr., Mrs. Ida Trump and Mrs. Paul Miller.
