Jerry Allen of Bayonne, N. J. spent several days recently with the George W. Tidlers. Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy and Mr. and Mrs. Brice Biggers were at the University Hospital in Charlottesville on Thursday where Mr. Kennedy underwent minor skin surgery He returned again on Friday for an emergency check-up. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Wright of Alexandria were Saturday morning callers of Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Barfield and family of Berryville spent the week-end with Mr. Barfield’s mother and great aunt Mrs. Hazel Barfield and Miss Alice Hitt. Mrs. Janie Aylor who was taken quite ill Monday of last week at her home in Novum is improving slowly at the home of her daughter Mrs. Harry Dwyer of New Salem. Mrs. Claude Gaines returned home Friday after spending the past two weeks at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Luther Hall of Silver Spring, Md. Mrs. Frank White and her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Clay Shelton and children of Fairfax spent Sunday with Mr. White at “Seven Springs Farm? Mr. and Mrs. Brice. Biggers returned home Friday evening Sept. 18 after a two-day visit with their daughter Mrs. Pat Sabine and children in Gaithersburg, Md. Mrs. Clarence B.
