Washington PTA Hears Dr. Hill
On Tuesday evening, Sept. 22, ;he Washington Elementary School Parents and Teachers tad the pleasure of meeting and hearing Dr. Samuel Hill, iiscuss our educational needs 3r. Hill is the Director of Instruction for Rappahannock. This was the first meeting of Che season, and was poorly attended. Reports by standing committees were helpful in determining what efforts are underway to assist the faculty and students. Last year, 1/3 of the students received dental work from the school dentist. The next executive meeting was set as 2 p.m. Oct. 5 for all standing committee chairmen.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday Oct. 20. If schools are interested in the children, why are not the children’s parents more interested in the school? Genuine interest will not allow absence!
