Mr. and Mrs. B. N. Eubank of Roanoke were over-night guests Friday of Mrs. L. J. Turner after attending the Harvest Home Day at the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper. Others attending the Harvest Home Day included Miss Annie Cooksey, Mrs. Jesse Ward, Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett and Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell. Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill and family of Richmond were Saturday overnight guests of Mrs. T. C. Lea and Judge and Mr6. T. C. Lea. The Rev. and Mrs. Arnold Sorrells were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinland. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Federline of Arlington were overnight guests Saturday of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller. Thursday dinner guests of Judge and Mrs. Miller were Col. and Mrs. E. A. McNear, Lt. Richard McNear and Mr. and Mrs. Richard McNear who spent last week at Greenwood. Mr. and Mrs. William M. Carrigan of Washington, D.C. spent the weekend at Avon Hall. Miss Ebba Hitt of Sperryville was the guest several days this week of Mrs. Floyd Compton. Miss Doris Daugherty spent the week-end with her parents in Pulaski. Miss Betsy Williams of Amissville was a week-end guest of Miss Cil Davis at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. George H.
