Tests Scheduled
The National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test will be given at Rappahannock County High School at 9 a.m., Tuesday March 9, 1965. All 1966gradu ates of this school who wish to enter the 1965-66 scholarship competition would register now at the Guidance office of the school with Lourena Zinn, Counselor. Students who will complete secondary school in 1966 and enter college in the same calendar year are eligible for -scholarship .consideration in the 1965-66 Merit Program. Merit Scholarships are fouryear awards. The extent of a winner’s financial need determines the amount of his Ittpend. To receive consideration, the student must take the test when it is offered in his school Participating students pay a $1 fee. If the test is administered on a Saturday, the school may charge an addition al fee up to $1 for special administrative costs for testing on a nonschool day. Any interested student who is unable to pay the fee should concult Miss Zinn. A student’s performance or the qualifying test also provides him with informatior that is useful in career planning or in se/lecting
