Miss Carolyn Brock has joined Col. and Mrs. Hill in Newport, R. I. for a weeks tour of the New England states. Miss Frances Wood spent the weekend with her mother Mrs. F. Downing Wood and returned to her school in Staunton on Sunday accompanied by Mrs. Wood, Miss Mary Wood and Joe D. Keyser. Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Memler of Fairfax were guests Sunday of Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Simpson of Luray were callers Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keyser. Mr. and Mrs. J. Stant Weaver were guests on Sunday and over-night of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda in Fairfax and were joined there by John Weaver of Washington, D.C. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wood of Takoma Park, Md. were the week-end guests of Mrs. Lena Wayland in the J. Stant Weaver home. Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Wayland were their Sunday dinner guests.
