Hang permanently pleated dresses and skirts to drip into shape before folding them. For large pieces like blankets and draperies, follow the directions in the use-care book for your washer and dryer. For line-drying, drape each piece over two clothes lines set 2-3 feet apart... preferably in the shade. Shift the position of heavy pieces once or twice to speed drying and to prevent clothesline ridges. When dry fold them and store them in plastic bagq plastic sheeting, or heavy paper. Seal openings with gum med tape. Before storing plastic., such as swim caps, wading pools, beach accessories, picnic equipment, and outdoor playthings..wipe all surfaces with a sudsy cloth or sponge, rinse and wipe them dry. Sprinkle talcum powder, baby powder, or cornstarch over plastics., especially inside of inflatables to prevent sticking where things are folded. Store plastics in a place which is cool, not cold. Sort out clothing and home furnishings which the family will never use again. If still in good condition, let these things give service and pleasure to someone else. Remember!
