Jones received a dislocated right shoulder and possibly a punctured lung. He was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital Front Royal by Flint Hill Res. cue Squad. Pullen was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by Rappahannock Rescue Squad with multiple lacerations of the forehead and bruises of both arms and legs He was released Monday. Lee Norris of Falls Church, a passenger in the Jones vehicle, was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by the Rappahannock Squad and was transferred to University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, in serious condition, said Mr. Buntin. He had not regained consciousness and sustained internal injuries. Both vehicles were total losses. Jones was charged with reckless driving and manslaughter.
Last Thursday a hit and run accident occurred at 5;30 on Route 211 near Massl e® I Corner. A 64 Ford pickup driven by ElwoodSeldon Alger of Stanley was sideswipedby a 61 green Falcon station wagon. The operator of the Falcon did not stop. Damage to the pickup was estimated at $50 by Trooper W. A. Buntin.
