Katharine Irene Dwyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dwyer of Boston, Va. completed ten weeks of basic training at Recruit Training Command (Women), United States Naval Training Centex; Bainbridge, Md. and was graduated during a military review held on Sept. 11, 1964. The local WAVE, a former student at Rappahannock Co. High, spent a 14-day leave with her parents before reporting to U. S. Naval Training Center Great Lakes, Illinois for Hospital Corpsman School.
