Fund Drive Month
March has been named as Red Cross month for fund raising. In proclaiming this President Johnson said “This year I ask and I urge each of you to join up, to join in, in the support that your Red Cross needs-and to do it in every way that you can". He added "Your help now can keep the Red Cross ready to answer the calls for help whenever and wherever they are heard." Although Fauquier and Rappahannock counties had their Fund Drive in October, many people were not reached at that time, for one reason or another. Letters are being sent out asking for contributions now. It is hoped that a good response will be made to this appeal.
