The Navy, Marines and Air Force are calling! Wednesday was Armed Services Day at RCHS. Recruiters from three military branches gave students general information on fulfilling military obligations to one’s country. Fellow Seniors shall we go by sea, land, or air? Adventurous and Educational. . . ! ! ! Posters have been placed in the hall by Junior and Senior F.H.A. girls. These posters give the realistic facts of dating and marriage. This project was one of the Club’s objectives. Martha Shillingburg has been selected to attend Girls’ State and Page Moffett to attend Boys’ State. With other students attending, from different schools in Virginia, Martha and Page will establish their own state and city governments exactly upon the form in operation in Virginia. Girls’ and Boys' State provides a practical application of Americanism and good citizenship.
