NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29-126 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia, the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries on February 20, 1965 adopted the following Amendment to Regulation 2.
It shall be lawful to hunt bearded turkeys only in the counties of A1 bemarle, Alleghany, Amelia, Amherst, Augusta, Bath, Bedford, Bland, Botetourt,Brunswick, Campbell, Caroline, Carroll, Charles City, Charlotte, Chesterfield, Craig Culpeper, Dinwiddie, Essex. Fairfax, Fauquier, Floyd, Franklin, Giles, Grayson, Greene Hanover, Henrico, Henry, Highland, King George, Loudoun, Lunenburg Madison, Mecklenburg, Montgomery Nelson, New Kent, Nottoway, Orange, Page, Patrick, Pittsylvania, Powha tan, Prince Edward, Prince George, Prince William, Rappahannock, Roanoke, Rockbridge, Rockingham, Southhampton, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Surry, Sussex, Warren, Wythe, and York, also in the counties of Smyth, Tazewell and Washington, except on ClinchMountain and Hidden Valley Wildlife Management Areas, from April 24, 1965 to May 1, 1965, dates inclusive, from one-half hour before sunrise to 10 o’clock a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
