NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN th.it pursuant to Sections 29-12T, and 29126 of the Code of Virginia, the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, meeting at Richmond, Virginia, January 14, 1966, ordered the proposed chnnge in its rules and will hold a Public Hearing for the purpose of adopting this proposed rule at Room 100, 7 North Second Street, Richmond, Virginia, 9:30 a.m. on February 19, 1966.

Amend Regulation 2 so ns to make It unlawful to hunt bearded turkeys only, statewide, from April 23 to May 6, 1966, dates inclusive, from one-half hour before sunrise to 10 o’clock a.m. (Fustern Standard Time) except in the counties of Accomack, Buchanan, Dickenson, ^Gloucester, Isle of Wight, Lancaster, I.ce, Mathews, Middlesex, Nansemond, Northampton, Northumberland, Richmond, Hussell, Scoflt, Westmoreland and Wise; and in the cities of Chesapeake and Virginia Beach; and on Clinch Mountain Wildlife Management Area in Smyth and Tazewell counties and Hidden Valley Wildlife management Areu in Washington tounty, which shall be closed to such hunting. Bearded turkeys shall be hunted by calling. It shall be unlawful to use dogs or organize drives for the purpose of hunting.
