Madison is now planning a dedication ceremony of the White Oak Run multi-purpose watershed project most of which has been completed in that county. The Fauquier County Water and Sanitation Authority, according to Jaison Paige, Jr. Chairman, "is currently engaged in long range planning for water supply to take care! of the expanded population an- j ticipated for this county in the! period of the next ten to fif- ! teen years." “The first priority of this j program will be a survey ofj Carter’s Run in the vicinity of Marshall to determine what volume of water might be stored in a watershed project that could serve the Marshall - The Plains Area". Request from this Authority for preliminary survey was granted Monday, Jan. 17th by the supervisors of the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District in Session at Orange. Prior to this second request a survey of the Fiery Run watershed area in Fauquier had been completed.
