Mr. andMrs. Henry C. Green of Markham, announce the engagement of their daughter, Grace Jaquelin, to Mr. Marvin R. Bradford III of Alexandria, Va. He is the son of Mr. and Mrt. MarvinR. Bradford, Jr. of Flint Hill. Miss Green is a graduate of Marshall High School and is a student at Bridgewater College. Mr. Bradford is a 1965 graduate of V.P.I. andispresently employed at Woodward and Lothrop in Washington, D. C. No date has been set for the wedding.
Air Force Offers Opportunities for Women
Young women who enjoy and do crossword puzzles well may be missing an excellent opportunity in the Air Force, said Sergeant Russell Spaulding of the Winchester, Virginia, Air Recruiting Office. “You see”, explains the sergeant, “The ability to do crossword and other puzzles well is a good indication that a young woman would also do well, in the Field of Cryptography - and that is one ot the many Air Force career fields open to Women in the Air Force who enlist now.” Other fields open to women between the ages of 18 and 27, include finance, communications, weather and public information. The Air Force conducts thorough and complete training in these and many other interesting jobs. WAF students attending training courses also receive full pay and benefits, an offer which Sergeant Spaulding describes as “hard to match anywhere else.” Young women with a high school diploma, who are unmarried, U.
