Two vehicles collided Sunday afternoon at Scrabble and injuries to three persons resulted. The crash occurred 1.4 miles east of Woodville on Route 522 at 4:35 p.m. James Lloyd- Bennett 11 of Arlington operating a 1965 Plymouth was struck by a 51 CMC pickup operated by James Ward Weaver of Culpeper, recently of Anderson, S. C. This vehicle was owned by Sandra Elaine Weaver. According to Trooper J. B. Willi^ the truck going east ran over in the west lane and crashed into the Plymouth. James Lloyd Bennett sustain ed a neck injury and John Walk er Bennett of Boston, a passenger in the car, received fractures of the ribs, punctured lung, and is in serious condition in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottes ville. John Maurice O'Bannon, Jr. of Woodville was among those to make the Dean’s List of Distinguished Students at the University of Richmond. Of the 168 men who qualified for the “best" in the student body no fewer than 20 had perfect straight A records. Mr. O’Bannon is taking courses at the summer session of the University and will return for the fall session.
