De whir*t-Ttimer Bridal J Party Entertained
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dewhirst of Hampton,. Va. entertained Friday evening with a rehearsal dinner for members of the Dewhirst-Tumer wed ding party and out of town guests. The dinner was held at Wayside Inn, Middletown. A luncheon for the bride and her attendants -was given Friday by Mrs. W. A. Miller at her home Mt. Prospect ir Washington. Additional guests included Mrs. James M. Pharr Mrs. Harold Dewhirst, Mrs. T. C. Lea and Mrs. Lewis Turner. On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. James Pharr of Newport News entertained the bridal party and out of town guests for lunct eon at the Congress Inn, Front Royal.
Following the rehearsal dinner, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones and family honored Miss Turn er, Mr. Dewhirst and bridal party with a cocktail party at their home Delamore. Additional guests included Mrs. T. C. Lea, Judge and Mrs. T. C, Lea, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. New bill Miller, Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller, Jr., Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Galley Washington Smith, III, Frank Wagner, Hei mutt Werner, The Rev. and Mrs. Charles Glaenzer, The Rev. James Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill, Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher Massie, Mr. and Mrs. B. N. Eubank, Mrs. Mary Lee Worrell, Ms and Mrs. Harold Dewhirst and Mrs. Lewis Turner.
