Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady and M. H. Brady, Jr. were week-end guests of their sonin-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hamilton at High Point, N. C. Galley W. Smith, III of Norfolk spent the week-end with his mother Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Lock Burford spent Saturday night in Amherst and on Sunday attended the funeral of Mr. Burford’s uncle Mr. Tucker Burford of Amherst. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser of Washington were Bridge guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning. Sunday dinner guests of Mr$ ,E. M. Eastham were Mr. and Mrs. Phil Eastham and family of Hume and Dabney Hughes Eastham. Mrs. James H. Day, Mrs. Jimmy Love and Donald Pitts of Richmond were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Cook and all drove across Skyline Drive in the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walk er and two children were Sunday callers in the J. P. Cook home. They were enroute to their home in Falls Church after spending last week in Louisville, Ky. where they attended the District Postal Con vention. Mr. and Mrs. William E. Pul len and Mrs. Pullen’s mother Mrs. Sarah Roughan of Front Royal are spending two weeks in Annapolis, Indiana. Robert L. Massie, Jr. of Richmond spent the week-end with his mother Mrs. F. W. Spalding. The W.S.C.S, will meet Thursday, August 25 at the home of Mrs. E. M. Eastham at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Thelma Russell, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. (Pete) Dennis and children Debra and Bill were guests last Wednesday at a cook-out supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Russell in Harrisonburg. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dennis and family left Thursday for their home in Jackson, S. C. after a visit of several weeks with relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Russell accompanied by Mr. and
