Roundabout Riding Camp, one of Rappahannock’s newest enterprises, will complete its first season Saturday. The camp for girls ages 7 through 12 has had good attendance and been well received by the public. Since the official opening June 26, a total of 40 young ladles have attended the camp staying for periods of two weeks to the whole seasoi\ Some of the campers have been so enthused they have returned for a second time in one summer. The proprietors, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Haggerty and daughter Sue, are pleased with the response to and results of their summer's activities and success of the camp. Campers have come from as far away as Michigan and as close by as Sperryville. They have had instruction in riding swimming and archery and participated in othe recreation and crafts. They live in a spacious, well ventilated dormitory and have meals in an equally cool, clean dining room with its own kitchen. An evening cookout is held once a week. The predominant feature of the camp is horseback riding. Under the skillful instruction of Sue Haggerty, many youngsters who had scarcely seen an animal before, have progressed to low jumping.
