All hounds entered in field trials wear a collar with their owner’s name and address, and have a number painted on both sides of their bodies. The number is for identification purposes when the judges score them in the field. The hounds entered in Northern Virginia’s trials next week will have a small green plastic tag, slightly larger than a quarter, linked to their collars. One side of the tag will have the same number as painted on the hound, and the other side will have the Association's name and telephone number of the secretary (825-8711). The purpose of these tags is to locate and pick up any lost hounds after the t^ls are over,,and. fejujfn. them to their owners. The general public is invited to listen to the sweetest music this side of heaven (according to the foxhunter) — no admission is charged.
