Shiloh Church VBS
The Vacation Bible School of the Shiloh Baptist Church1 in Woodville had its closing program Saturday evening at 7 o’clock. They had a successful! week with 60 enrolled. The teachers were Miss Car roll Williams, Mrs. Lucy Childs, Mrs. Dorothy Butler and Mrs. Beulah Wallace. Mrs Switzer was an Instructor. Helpers were Mrs. Eva Bratchet, Mrs. Roberta Jackson and Mrs. Newton Jackson. Pas tor, .the Rev. C. H. Sanford.
Porter Singers
The Porter Singers of Oak Shade Baptist Church, Catlett, will be at First Baptist Church Sunday August 28, at 7:30 p. m. The Rev. and Mrs. Brokenburr were Saturday overnight guests of Mrs. Mary Fltzhugh. Johnny Majors of East Orange, N. J. is the guest of his brother George Majors at Breeze Hill in Sperryville.
