Sp/5 Dan R. Smith of Amissville will complete two years service with the U. S. Army in April of this year. He is presently stationed in Yong Dong Po, Korea where he has spent 13 months and is noncommissioned officer in charge of the QM Milk Plant. He is the son of Mrs. Russell Smith and the late Mr. Smith of Amissville, and was graduated from Culpeper County High School in 1962. He enter ed the Army in 65 and completed basic training at Fort Jackson, S. C. He attended Quartermaster School at Fort Lee, Petersburg, and left Dec. 19, 1965 from San Francisco for Korea. Smith was stationed in Yong San, Korea for 10 months and at the end of his tour of duty will have spent 16 months in that country.
