The hills are covered with a blanket of downy snow, following' a 9-inch fall which began Monday night and continued through Tuesday afternoon. Schools in Rappahannock were closed Tuesday and Wednesday. This is just what the doctor ordered for Skyline Ski Area and with prospects of more of the "white stuff falling before the weekend skiing should be at best. (Someone said, Mr. Sparling was rolling in a snow drift and yelling whoopee.)
