John Newton and Otho Bryant Jr.f both of Castleton; and five grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ira Fincham, Washington, Va.and a brother, Shelby S. Whorton of Marion, Va. A funeral service was held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the graveside in theGrimsleyfamily cemetery near the residence. The Rev. Milton Switzer, pastor of Hope Hill Community Chapel, officiated. Feests Funeral Parlors were in charge of arrangements.
Webster Fletcher
Daniel Webster Fletcher, 50, of Washington, Va. died Jan. 31, 1967 while at work at the American Viscose in Front Royal. He was the son of the late Marshall Fletcher and Mrs. Amanda Roberts Fletcher, who survives him. Other survivers are his wife. Mrs. Virginia Fletcher, Washington; three brothers, Ernest Fletcher and Wade Haugston Fletcher, of Washington, Va. and William Douglas Fletcher, Fairfax; six sisters, Mrs. Edith Jordan and Miss Mary McGregor Fletcher, Washington, Va., Miss Lorraine Fletcher, Mrs. Dorothy McCray and Miss Evelyn Amanda Fletcher, Washington, D. C. and Mrs. George Fletcher of Rankin, Pa. A funeral service will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday from the First Baptist Church, Washington, Va. with the Rev. Kenneth A. Coleman officiating.
