Fox Hound Drag Race

The Rappahannock Hunt is again sponsoring a Fox Hound Drag Race to be held at the conclusion of the Polnt-toPoint Races Scheduled for March 4 at Thornton Hill Farm near Sperryville on Route 522. The Hound Race is open to Dwners residing in Rappahannock Hunt territory and to 1967 members of the Northern Virginia Fox Hunters Association
Entry fees of 50 cents per hound and membership dues to Northern Virginia Fox Hunters Associations which is $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for juniors 16 and under, should be sent to W. H. Lyne, Washington, Va. Deadline for entries is Feb. 25. Ribbons and cash prizes will be awarded owners of the first five bounds crossing the finish line. Mr. Lyne requests that those sending in entries print their names and complete addresses plainly so gate pass es and membership cards can be mailed in time and entries included in the race program. The name of each hound should also be included. All hounds must be on the grounds by 11:00 a.m. on the day of the races for numbering. All entry fees will be added to the Hound Dr>g Race purse.
