defeated by Warren County:High
School, 78,-62, February 3. Warren
County led 20-13 at the end
of the first quarter, but the
Panthers came back and outscored
their opponents 17-15 in
the second period. At the ’fend
V the third quarter, the Warren
^Wildcats had a 6 point lead, 5145.
Warren County led 53-52
with 6 minutes left to play in
the game. Scoring continued on
both sides but Panthers couldn’t
gain a lead and Wildcats won,
78-62. Bobby Settle tossed in 26
points, Roger Atkins scored 16
and Wayne Deal had 13 points.
Bill ■ Wood had 22 points for
Warren County. Two of the Panthers’
starters, Roger Atkins
and Bob Settle, fouled out of the game.
Rappahannock Jayvees won
their fourth game of the season
by crushing the Warren County
