Just a reminder that the fall rummage sales will begin Thursday, September 7 in the basement of the Washington Post Office building and will continue each Thursday and Friday for the remainder of the month. Sale hours are fron^ 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. and proceeds are for the benefit of the Washington Fire Company and the Rappahannock Rescue Squad. Any useable or saleablearticles which you do not need and would care to contribute to the sale would be appreciated, according to Mrs. W. B. Jenkins.
