For those Rappahannock friends who have loved and admired the Reverend P. Harris Chelf and his lovely wife, this item will hold great interest. They are both now past 90 years of age but continue to be very wide awake citizens at the Snyder Nursing Home in Salem. Their daughter-in-law Mrs. Peggy Chelf, is a nurse there and has been instrumental in seeing that they receive proper care and attention. Though Mr. Chelf is almost completely blind and' Mrs. Chelf unable to care for him, they are both alert and very much interested in what their friends are doing. Mr. Chelf recalled recently, during a visit with two old friends, many incidents, names and places in Rappahannock County where he was born and reared. They would both enjoy hearing often from all their friends and associates. They should be addressed as follows:

Mrs. Chelf was brought up in the Baptist Orphanage in Salem where Mr. Chelf once served as Superintendent. Before he began The anaconda, largest snake in the western hemisphere, grows to about 20 feet. Legends abound about this huge reptile but there is no authenticated report of the snake over hav&ng_killed a human being.
