Goodwill Tour in S.A

D. French Slaughter, Jr., of Culpeper, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, has been named host for a delegation of state and local government leaders on an 18day Goodwill People-to-People inspection mission to South America. The group is scheduled to visit with South American leaders in government, business and agriculture. The mission will leave Richmond, November 15 and then fly by jet non-stop to its first port of call, Rio De Janeior, Brazil. The delegation will also visit Brasilia. Sao Paulo, Mon tevideo, Buenos Aires and San tiago, returning on December 2. Virginia’s Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Maurice B. Rowe said of the tour, ‘This is a real opportuni ty for Virginia citizens to visit personally with leaders in South America. This area represents one of our great tade potentials for the future.” The People-to-People delegation is limited to official and personal invitation only. The entire Goodwill Mission, which is on an individual pay plan, is privately sponsored and organized under the Good will People-to-People program.
