Luncheon guests on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne were Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Newton of Denver, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Taylor of Orange and Mrs. H. O. Lyne of the Virginia Baptist Home, Culpeper. Miss Mary Jane Morris of Charlottesville spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins and their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Codding of Alexandria, enjoyed a day of fishing at Colonial Beach on Saturday. Mrs. J. Harvey Daily returned to her hcftne last Tuesday after a stay of several weeks in Warren Memorial Hospital after surgery. Her condition is reported as satisfactory.
Mrs. Lester Dodson and Mrs Perle Coffey spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Dodson in Manassas. Thursday guests of Miss Barbara Swindler were SM/ Sgt. and Mrs. Thomas Swindler and familv of Brentwood, Md. Mrs. Netus “Sonny” Brown and children were guests on Sunday of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Gough in Brandy. SM/Sgt. A. Lee Swindler and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Viola Brown spent the weekend in Richmond with Mr. and Mrs.
