This year scores of qualified J candidates will be considered l for 4-H alumni award, accord- 1 ing to 4-H leaders. Each county 1 will select four residents for 1 local recognition and the ] alumni pin. j
During the past three years more than 6,300 persons received the alumni recognition pin.
Four men and women also may be named for 1967 state honors. Each will receive a handsome bronze and walnut plaque appropriately inscribed.
The 4-H alumni key is presented annually to eight national winners at the alumni banquet held during the National 4-H Club Congress in Chicago.
For information on how to submit names for alumni awards, contact the county extension office. The former 4-H’er need not now reside in his home county or state.
