Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jenkins of Sperryville celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home Sunday with a family dinner and open house from 1 until 4 p.m. About 300 friends and relatives called to extend best wishes. Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins were married February 15, 1917 by the Rev. Jim Brown of Sperryville and have been housekeeping in Rappahannock County since that time. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Jenkins.
