The annual display of fireworks at Avon Hall, home of Mr. and Mrs. William Carrigan at Washington, was enjoyed by many from the town and surrounding area. This is a sample of the brilliant, colorful display. Top left photo shows the Carrigan home and lawn decorated for the holiday and the picture below was the scene that night.
