We hear a lot these days about CHURCHANITY. It seems that it is in some way associated with CHRISTIANITY, but not quite up to par. We know that Christianity applies to those who follow the Christ, but what about the person who practices churchanity. Is it a good word? If so, what is its meaning? I would assume that it pertains to people who go to church because it is the IN thing, but who fail to apply the true tenets of Christianity in their daily living.
Some would accuse this type of person as a hypocrite. I maintain that going to church is good. It might set an example for some young person who could become a great religious leader. God has a way of using the poor device of man to work out His eternal purposes. Let’s go to church often. Some of God’s grace might rub off on us accidentally. It is worth the effort.
