Mrs. Edmund Martin

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jenkins have as their guest this week Mrs. Bessie Anthony of Arlington. On Wednesday they were joined for lunch by Mrs. Carl Lancaster and Mrs. Louise Whitlock of Elkwood. Saturday evening visitors of the Jenkins family were Mrs. John Kite and Miss Gladys Kite of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs. Anthony were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Barron. Mr. and Mrs. B. James Moss had as their guests last week Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Parrish, Mrs. Nora Venable and Shelia Venable of Florida. They were joined for the weekend by Mr. and Mrs. Abe Obykhan and children of Wilmington, Del. Mrs. Charles Dodson and daughter Carolyn spent Saturday at Ocean City, Md. and were joined by Mrs. Harry Comer and three daughters and Mrs. Jessie Chummy of Culpeper, Mrs. Philip Estes and Mrs. Ann Riley of Catalpa and Mrs. John Wharton and Mrs. Frances Estes of Jeffersonton. Mrs. Lessie Mills spent last week in Warrenton with her son Moffett Mills and visited other relatives in the area.

Violet Mae Scott is spending the week with Karen and Nancy Smith at Amissville and attending Bible School. Mr. and Mrs. George Bailey spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Scott. Guests for a picnic lunch Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Scott were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Judy and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Judy, Jr. of Alexandria, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith and family of Amissville, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Martin, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Marshall Dodson, Eugene Dodson, Mrs. Henry Hitt and son Charles and her granddaughter Susan Settle.
