Mrs. Ruth J. Keyscr Mrs. Floyd Brown of Front Royal and Mrs. Joel L. Jenkins have returned from a week’s vacation at Virginia Beach. On Wednesday they attended funeral services for their uncle Acrey Nicholson at Hampton.
A group of county Cub Scouts’ parents and other members of their families had picnic supper and attended the Camp Fire and Indian Dance Friday at the Boy Scout Camp rock Enon at Gore. Attending were Cub Scouts Curtis Nichols, Johnny Vest, Allen Vest and Richy Burke. Also Mrs. Paul Nichols and son Douglas, Mr. and Mrs. John Vest, Mrs. Michael Vest, Mrs. Grady Vest, Renee and Christal Vest, Janet Vest, Lee and Curtis Vest and Mrs. Mabel burke, of Woodville. The Rev. and Mrs. Norman Flythe of Culpeper, their son-in-law and daughter and family were visitors on the 4th of July of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bradford, III of Knoxville, Tenn. were week-end visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Bradford, jr. and Mrs. Henry Green at Markham. Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning and sons Edgar and John B. Browning attended a Kay family reunion Sunday at the home of Mrs. Browning’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Palmore at Tappahannock.
Mrs. Ida Trump returned July 3 from a seven weeks trip to Canada and the West coast. Her guests over the week-end were Mr. and Mrs. Blois Trump, Keven, Craig and Robin Trump of Alexandria who visited Stacy Trump at Camp Roundabout. Keven stayed to spend the week with his grandmother Mrs. Trump.
The Rev. Edward Pruitt is spending this week at the Methodist Youth Camp at Boston. Mrs. Edward Pruitt and two children are visiting her parents at Tangier Island.
Mrs. James Nicholson of Front Royal and Mrs. Grady Vest were visitors on the 4 th of July of Mrs. Florence Weakley of Madison.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gavor Foster and were visitors Sunday afternoon of Mrs. Effie Wince at Orleans.
